Kranz Consulting is assisting a West LA CPA Firm to hire a skilled and motivated Tax Manager to join their growing team. The position offers excellent opportunities for leadership and career growth.
As a key member of the team, the Tax Manager position will be a hands-on role and will include managing and maintaining tax engagements, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, and providing tax planning and advisory services to clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax compliance, planning and research, with excellent management and client relationship skills. This position will include coaching and reviewing staff accountants work.
Skills and Requirements:
- A minimum of 8 – 10 years experience in public accounting. Business Management Services company experience a plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
- CPA required.
- Skills and knowledge in GAAP principles, standards and tax technical skills.
- Extensive experience preparing and reviewing multi-state individual, corporate, partnership, and estate/trust tax return with various complexities.
- Experience with High-Net-Worth clients required. Real estate and entertainment client experience a plus.
- Proficient in QuickBooks and CCH ProSystems.
- Experience corresponding directly with clients and vendors while building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
